WELCOME TO THE TOURIST LODGE
Positioned in the heart of Broken Hill city, the Broken Hill Tourist Lodge provides travellers the opportunity to relax in the peace, comfort and unrivalled hospitality that our Outback mecca is renowned for.
We have hosted many school groups and activity groups at the tourist lodge.
You can make use of the shared facilities or have your own private ensuited rooms.
We offer a 30 rooms all of non-smoking, air conditioned with a choice from single, double rooms with shared facilities or upgrade to our beautifully fitted ensuited bedrooms.
We also offer comfortable large or adjoining rooms for families. For guests wanting the home comfort, we have room with full size equipped kitchen, BBQ area, swimming pool and shared bathroom facilities on both ends of the lodge for easy access.
The Tourist Lodge Motel is the perfect choice to host a large group such as school groups, working groups, functions and event locations with the budget in mind. Food locations is only a short stroll as the lodge is centrally located in town.
Plenty to see and do
The venue is easy to access, and is within walking distance of the Broken Hill Train Station, Broken Hill Visitors Information Centre and local bus terminals. A number of cafes, restaurants, clubs, specialty stores and galleries can be found along Argent Street, and we encourage all visitors to take the opportunity to explore and enjoy what the area has to offer.
Room facilities
Each of our 30+ rooms feature air-conditioning and heating with access to a number of shared bathroom facilities. All guests have access to free wired internet at our reception. All rooms have access to a shared fully equipped kitchen.
Entertainment
The Broken Hill Tourist Lodge boasts a variety of entertainment facilities and opportunities for socialisation. Guests can relax by the waterside in our large outdoor pool area, or enjoy an Aussie BBQ in our outdoor dining area (complete with BBQ facilities). Our popular comfortable shared Lounge features sofas, TV and board games provides guests the opportunity to socialise with their travel group and meet other travellers.
A guest laundry is available for an additional charge.

Dinner, bed and breakfast package options are available on request for our long term stays, contractors, tour groups and special needs. Breakfast and lunch options are available for contractors, and a work fridge is available to contractors as a matter of convenience. Call us for a quote.
